Hidden Realities: the greatest story ever told so far …
The internationally renowned physicist Dr. Lawrence Krauss will be giving a public lecture here in Fairbanks. Dr. Krauss is one of the top science communicators in the world. He is the author of several best-selling books including “The Physics of Star Trek” and has over 290 thousand twitter followers. Dr. Krauss’ newest book is set to be released on March 21st. The book is about how humanity has come to our current understand of reality with an emphasis on the people behind the discoveries. This will be the topic of his lecture.The lecture will be just over an hour long with a question and answer session afterwards.
In addition to being an excellent communicator Dr. Krauss is a leading scientist in the fields of particle astrophysics and cosmology. These include amazing subjects such as dark matter, dark energy, black holes and the early universe. He is also the director of the Origins Project at Arizona State University.
The event will take place at the West Valley Performing Arts Center and is free to attend.
