2017 Arctic Division AAAS Meeting

The theme of this year’s meeting is Art and Science: Arctic Ways of Knowing. It will be an interdisciplinary meeting with papers in the area of STEM, Social Science and the Arts. This meeting has traditionally been a good meeting for graduate students to present their research and interact with faculty members.
Plenary speakers Todd Sherman, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts; Evon Peter, Vice Chancellor Rural, Community, & Native Education; Philip Loring, School of Environment and Sustainability, University of Saskatchewan will address attendees in the morning. Concurrent sessions will begin after lunch.
For planning purposes, an email indicating your plan to attend would be appreciated. A registration fee will not be charged. RSVPs and abstracts should be submitted to email@example.com by October 9. Lunch will be provided. Graduate student presentations will be eligible for the Larus Presentation and Travel Award to the February 2018 National AAAS meeting, in Austin, Texas. http://meetings.aaas.org/
